Babaluku (born Silas Balabyekkubo) is a pioneering Ugandan rapper, musician, and community activist widely regarded as one of the godfathers of Ugandan hip-hop. He is best known for founding the Luga Flow movement, a style of hip-hop performed in the native Luganda language that encourages Ugandan youth to celebrate their indigenous culture and heritage.

  • Bataka Squad: He is a founding member of the legendary hip-hop group Bataka Squad, which played a critical role in the early development of the Ugandan rap scene.
